Chaque semaine, nous recevons 3-4 livraisons de viande de poulet. Chaque gramme de poulet peut-\u00eatre retrac\u00e9e jusqu\u2019 \u00e0 l\u2019agriculteur. Les \u0153ufs pour les poulets de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Favorit proviennent de l\u2019un des cinq parcs parentaux en Valais. Chacun des cinq parcs, poss\u00e8de six halles ou il y a un total de 15\u2019000 poules pondeuses. Les \u0153ufs sont \u00e9clos un jour particulier et sont transport\u00e9s \u00e0 la ferme d\u2019engraissement. C\u2019est environ la moiti\u00e9 des poulettes f\u00e9minin et masculin. Les animaux ont un acc\u00e8s permanent \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable et \u00e0 la nourriture. Pendant l\u2019engraissement, la temp\u00e9rature descend en continu jusqu\u2019\u00e0 21 \u00b0 C. Lorsque les poussins ont 20 jours, ils sont assez forts pour \u00eatre en mesure de vivre dans la v\u00e9randa. A ce moment-l\u00e0, ils p\u00e8sent environ 2 kg \u2013 2,200 kg. Parfois pour obtenir des coquelets, certains des animaux sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 abattus apr\u00e8s environ 31 jours.<br \/>Apr\u00e8s chaque d\u00e9population, les fermes sont nettoy\u00e9es et d\u00e9sinfect\u00e9es. Ainsi, le risque d\u2019une maladie peut \u00eatre minimis\u00e9. Malheureusement des pathog\u00e8nes peuvent quand m\u00eame se reproduire. Si c\u2019est le cas, l\u2019antibiotique est administr\u00e9 en cas d\u2019urgence par la nourriture.
